[bit.listserv.wp50-l] Soft line break

HANEY@TAMCBA.BITNET (Richard L. Haney, Jr.) (02/09/90)

I need help recalling a feature I have used before because I don't
remember what keystrokes I used to implement it. When I have something
like "September/October" near the end of a line, I want to insert a
"soft line break" after the slash so that the line will break there, if
appropriate. WPCorp must call it something other than a soft line break
because I can't find any mention of it.

Thanks for your help....Dick

WordPerfect calls it an Invisible Soft Return (ISRt) which is created in
two separate keystrokes: Home, Enter.

It's called an Invisible Soft Return. You get it by pressing [Home]
followed by [Enter].
