We are going to buy a plotter. If anyone has had experience with any
currently on the market I would appreciate their comments on them and
their compatibility with DI-3000 drivers.

  Thanks

John,

We have been using DI-3000 with several hardcopy devices for three or
four years.

If you are looking for a pen plotter - you CANNOT beat Hewlett Packard -
we've had two older models running under DI-3000 very successfully. Now
they've come out with faster and cheaper models:
	HP 7550 - 8 pens w/ automatic sheet feed - A or B size $4000
	HP 7470 - 2 pens $1095
	HP 7475 - 6 pens $1895
If you have a "production" environment you'll need the 7550 - we had to
write some software to facilitate the automatic sheet feed (labeling
plots too) in the DI-3000 driver - maybe PVI has that available now.

If you need better resolution or speed - you might look at the new
Tektronix 4692 - they call it a Color Graphics Copier - it's ink jet
technology - don't know if PVI supports this yet but I imagine they will
eventually.
