[comp.dsp] Help Needed; Motorola DSP56000

yz03+@andrew.cmu.edu (Yang-Ling Zhang) (02/24/90)

Could someone please tell me where I can find a copy of programmer's manual
for Motorola DSP56000?

Motorola distributors don't seem to have the book.

Your local Motorola field office will have them or you can call the marketing
information number (512) 891-2030. Be sure and ask for DSP56000UM/AD REV 1.
There may be a more current one, but make sure it is at least REV 1.

In addition, there is a free access DSP-specific electronic bulletin board
called Dr. BuB that is run by Motorola. The numbers are:

            (212A - 300/1200 baud) : (512) 891-dsp1
            (V.22 - 1200 baud) : (512) 891-dsp2
            (V.22bis - 2400 baud) : (512) 891-dsp3

7 data bits, 1 stop bit, even parity
             user ID= guest

There is a large quantity of Motorola-specific DSP software available for
downloading.
