[comp.dsp] High-speed A/D converter VME boards

fnddr@acad3.fai.alaska.edu (RICE DON D) (07/19/90)

I'm looking for a 12-bit ADC VMEbus board with 10 MHz sampling. There are a
couple of possibilities I'm looking into. One is made by TECNINT of Italy,
and the U.S. distributor is shown as Eurorep Systems in Arizona. However,
I called them and they no longer carry the product line. They referred me
to C&C Technology of Chicago, but the number they gave me is disconnected.
Anybody know if this product is still available around here, or if it is even
worth pursuing?

If anybody has other suggestions on where to look for this sort of creature,
I'd be happy to hear them. Might even consider something with a little less
resolution or a little slower sampling rate if other specs and price are
attractive.

Thanks,

Try DATARAM in Cranbury, NJ. I designed a high-speed A/D system for them
a few years ago that fed the data into one port of a solid-state disk. I
believe they have carried this concept further and OEM the disks to
several computer manufacturers. Phone is 609-799-0071.
