Richard Furuta mentioned that TeX was available at a nominal
cost for both UNIX and VMS. Would someone be kind enough to
provide an address and phone number of the vendor, we would like
to get both versions.

You asked how to get TeX for Berkeley Unix and for VMS.

To get Unix TeX, send us a copy of your 4.1 or 4.2 bsd source license
and a check made to the University of Washington. Since you are
outside of the U.S., the check should be for $85 in U.S. funds. (If
you are in the U.S., the amount is $75.) We can't take purchase
orders---it has to be a check. This is all sent to
	Pierre MacKay
	Computer Science, FR-35
	University of Washington
	Seattle, WA 98195
This tape contains everything you'll need (sources, fonts, etc.).
Pierre and I are the Unix TeX site coordinators. Pierre's phone
number is (206)545-2386 and his net address is MacKay@Washington.

The VMS version is obtained from Maria Code, I think. They can be
contacted at (408) 735-8006 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., West
Coast time. I think that you will need a distribution tape, a font
tape, the media and postage for a total cost of something like $172.
But contact them for information. The VMS TeX site coordinators are
David Kellerman and Barry Smith at (503)232-4799 if you have more questions.
