[comp.dsp] MASH A/D Converters

While Candy did in fact propose a D/A based on the
MASH idea it was actually the Japanese fellows at 
NTT that actually coined the term MASH (a poor
acronym for 'mult-stage noise shaping').  See
their most famous and original paper on the subject
in the ISSCC '87 proceedings WAM 3.5 entitled:
" A 16b Oversampling A/D Conversion Technology using
Triple Integration Noise Shaping".
