I've been daydreaming lately about an array processor for scientific applications. It would have to operate with double precision. Moto's 96002 sounds easy to work with but is only "single precision extended", whatever that is. Is there a DSP that would be suitable for vector/array processing at double precision that is fairly easy to work with? Thanks. John Kuszewski kuszewsk@euler.biology.yale.edu
