I'm looking for articles which deal with simulating bandpass systems (e.g. communications). Specifically the use of analytic representation (or pre-envelop) of a bandpass signal to avoid generating the carrier. _____________________________________________________________________________ Brad Hedstrom, University of Victoria, ECE Dept. See chapter 3 ," Characterization of signals and systems". Three methods of representing bandpass signals are given. When doing simulation of comm systems these forms are invaluable. Comdisco systems of Foster City, Cal. builds a beautiful comms silulator that uses the bandpass representation method. The program is called SPW for Signal Processing WorkStation.
