INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY PROGRAM IN DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING The Signal Processing Laboratory of Tampere University of Technology offers a one year program in digital signal processing. Some of the courses offered in this program are Median and Morphological Filtering, Advanced Methods in Signal Processing, VLSI for Signal Processing, Digital Video and HDTV, Signal Processors, Digital Audio, etc. The program is intended for students with a B.S. or a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. All courses are taught in English. The programs are planned for 20-25 Finnish and foreign students. Academic year 1991-1992 starts September 2nd, 1991 and ends May 15th, 1992. The tuition fee for the program is FIM 20 000 (1 US $ = FIM 3.60). Students are expected to support themselves financially. Monthly expenses run about FIM 2900 on the average.
