Hello
Can someone tell a good book and/or explain how CDs ( music ) work
i.e. what is the encoding, the terminology used in the CD world
etc ...

Thanks You
Sandro

P.S. If you e-mail your answers to ( pedro@cs.mcgill.ca ) I will post
a summary.

I hate to flame a fellow McGill student, but your lazyness compels me to
do it. :-(

To answer your question, go to the library. There is at least one book
called "Digital Recording" in the TK5xxx stack, it has
most of what you probably want to know.

To get the exact call number you only have to consult the ONLINE
library circulation database (MUSE) which you could have done in less
time than it took you to post your question !

I read a good book on digital audio about two years ago. If my memory
serves me correctly:
Principle of Digital Audio, by Ken Pohlmann ?
It's a paperback published by SAMS.
