We are planning to build a multiprocessor system, based on the 56001. Currently, we are looking for information about existing architectures, such as the Ariel Quint Board. Especially information about the communication between the processors would be highly appreciated, i.e shared memory concepts etc. Also it seems, that Motorola has some sort of application paper related to this theme, dealing with communication through the SSI interface, but it wasn't possible to get any information about that so far... So if you have any hints, please email ( or post ? ).
