[comp.dsp] 56001 as a Modem

Hi,
 I have heard mention of a document by motorolla that discusses using the
mc56001 to implement a 9600 BPS modem. Does any one have a reference to this
document or any info on using this chip to implement a modem? Thanks for any
info.
