We are interested in purchasing a couple of portable (not
transportable) terminals, that is, they should be able to fit under the seat
when flying on a commercial airlines. We have no real requirements, but it
would be nice if we could get a portable with an 80 column screen. Anybody
have any suggestions?

Semi-biased as I might be, you should certainly look at the HP110.

I did not mean to slight the fine folks from HP on my list of portable
computers. In response to grfamini@CSNET-RELAY, here are some addresses
for portable computers. Lap computers should also be looked into, and can be referenced
in the Jan 84 Creative Computing. This list is by no means all inclusive..

There's also Sarasota Automation in Florida which sells the
British "Husky Hunter", which purports to be a very rugged
little beast, much smaller and lighter than all the competition,
8x40 LCD, 2.5 lbs, the size of a large paperback, with 208 KBytes
	of RAM !!!
