I'm sure by now someone out there must have compiled emacs either version 18.55 or 18.52 on AIX version 1.2 for the IBM PS/2's. Can someone shed some light on which version would work best and what modifications should be made to the sources to get it to compile correctly? I'm sure this must have been asked before and I appologize for asking again. You can reply directly to: peter@cunixf.cc.columbia.edu or post it here if you think there would still be enough interest in it. We have tried to compile both versions here and keep getting either compilation errors or linking errors. Also ... We have been having problems with telnet not refreshing properly and also the esc key is interpreted as a two esc key sequence. If we set telnet at runtime to emulate vt100, the double esc problem is solved, but how can you permanently set it up? Pedro Quien?
