I've 3 questions about the ethernet baseband adapter for the IBM RT-PC (6151) and AIX 2.2.1. 1) We have a RT-PC installed with a baseband adapter in an ethernet network with a lot of Sun's. What i find interesting is that when you do a "netstat -i" the net0 device reports a lot of input errors, half the number of input packets. What could be the cause of this? And when exactly treats the net driver input as an error? 2) With the "devices" command you can change a lot of parameters, especially for buffering. What do these parameters mean? How are these parameters working together with the "interrupt rate" jumpering (thresholds and so on)? 3) If you do "ifconfig net0 debug" where is the debugging information going to and how do "trcrpt" and "errpt" work with the net driver? If there is something mentioned in manuals where is it then? I can find a lot about Token Ring but about Baseband...! Many thanks in advance. /* Rene Nieuwboer, Computersection Psychology, Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, Holland. (InterEunet: reneni@psy.vu.nl). */
