Does anyone know how to change the cursor style in AIX 1.2 for PS/2-386? The currnet steady underline is hard to track. I would like to have a blinking block, but at least a blinking underline. Please respond via Email. The command: display -t 1025 will enable vga hardware fonts and give you a nice flashing underline cursor. I never leave home without it :-}. terminfo has a capability called "cvvis" for making the cursor "very visible". It would be nice if the hft escape sequence cruncher supported it and would switch to a block cursor or something similar. Of course, there's always xterms if one has X installed. -- Andrew Ernest <andrew@ramona.Cary.NC.US>

I thought a posting might help more people than email, so here goes: There is an escape sequence that will change the style of the cursor on an HFT: \033[x\000\000\000\014\002\010\002\000\000\00n ^ (where 'n' is:) 0 - No cursor 1 - Underline 2 - Fat underline 3 - Lower half block 4 - Fat hyphen 5 - Full block Hope this helps! ----- Jay A.
