jmm@skivs.UUCP (Joel M. Miller) (09/16/90)
I have to set up a unix network in a scientific and administrative
environment consisting of about 50 stations, some organizable into
workgroups. We have existing PC's, Mac's and VT-100's to connect
(Ethernet, LocalTalk, RS-232), and want to support a UUCP domain,
IP/SLIP connections, dial-up lines, a modem pool, ... . A better mail
interface than mailx would be nice. Any suggestions on what direction
I should look in for file and communication service (RS6000/AIX,
SparkStation, MacIIfx/AUX, DEC)?
