Does anyone know what I need to do to alleviate this? (Don't say "Buy more memory" please.) While this was going on I also got a lot of errors on the system disk. Could this be related? The system didn't crash so I *assumed* there were no disk errors that the swapper got - but maybe it was waiting for error recovery of some such thing. Any ideas would be welcome. Rg -------
