I seem to have a very high percentage of defective high density floppies with RS/6000s. Are high density floppies crappy in general or are the drives on RS/6000s very fussy or is it something else? Eliot

If not, call the problem in to hardware support. While I have seen a few of floppies go bad (we use a LOT of em over & over again) they seem to be quite reliable. - Frank Feuerbacher Disclaimer: I don't speak for my employer and they don't speak for me.
