[comp.unix.aix] how to mail to BITNET addresses?

wargaski@casbah.acns.nwu.edu (Robert E. Wargaski Jr.) (11/28/90)

I am attempting to get sendmail on our RS/6000 with AIX 3.1 to deal with BITNET addresses. I am using
the plain sendmail.cf shipped with the machine. I tried the RSCS business, but that didn't work (perhaps
that only works with VM machines?)---the BITNET gateway is a VMS machine.

It's likely something very simple . . . I just need to tell sendmail to send mail to user@host.bitnet to
our BITNET host.

Thanks for help.
