I fetched the emacs files from byron. I diddled as instructed for 18.55. I'm working from home on a wyse30, and the results seem hosed. It looks like yet another case of the wrong line discipline -- the screen display is fine, but typein isn't correctly interpreted. It seems odd to me that setting bsd discipline should be needed, since the s- file sets up USG mode for aix, which transactions here have said works ok with POSIX. Anyone out there have light to shed? -- Benson I. Margulies
