It's us again. We have had our RS6000 for about a week now and applied update tape 3002. We are trying to get Sendmail to work using MX records. In the supplied .cf file we have only changed the domain macros and the "OK" option. The OK option has been tried, in test mode , as MX and ALL with no luck. I assume ,as the documentation suggests in sendmail.cf, that the RHS rule set $:$1<@$[$2$]$3 is trying to do a name server lookup for $2. We do not have "named" running on the RS6000. The /etc/resolv.conf points to a nameserver on another machine. This works for ftp, ping, etc. We also have not done anything with the sendmail.nl file. Any ideas? Ah for the good old days of sendmail 5.61+IDA+MU.
