Context: IBM RS/6000 320 @ release 3002 Is there any performance advantage in having a given amount of paging space split across two disks? We just bought an additional third party disk and need to increase paging space. This disk is probably a bit slower than the IBM disk, but I suppose I could specify an optimum location on the disk for the extra paging space. (Incidentally, where is this optimum location on a disk?). Both disks belong to the same physical volume. -- | Chuck Henkel | There are currently 111 operating | | Department of Nuclear Engineering | nuclear power plants in the US, | | N.C.
