[comp.unix.aix] RS6000 NFS?

mcguire@math.uiowa.edu (Charlie McGuire) (02/09/91)

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has tried using NFS on the RS6000
to/from SUNs and/or Macs. Any problems, idiosyncratic bits, or tips would be
a great help.

I'm also interested in any experiences with Yellow Pages on the 6000.

Thanks in advance.

Just last Friday I mounted a filesystem from a Sparcstation 2 onto one
of my Model 320's. I used smit, mounted it as I would any AIX NFS export
and it worked just fine.
