[comp.unix.aix] IMSL/SAS on RS6000

mkibler@eecs.wsu.edu (Michael K. Kibler) (02/07/91)

Has SAS and/or IMSL been ported to the RS6000?

Is anybody using these packages on the RS6000? and how are
they working out?

Thanks in advance,

(P.S. This may be a second posting of this question. I posted
previously but I do not think it was properly entered into the
news stream)

Yes, SAS has ported their system to the RS/6000. It's currently in
beta test. We've just received the software and have been trying
to set itup, so I don't have any comments on what it's like.

IMSL has ported and released our MATH, STAT and Special Function Fortran
libraries, our graphics library (exponent Graphics) and our
C/Base/Library (numerical analysis, statistics, etc., in C)
on the RS/6000,
