This caught us, too.

The safest way to stop the printer from paginating is to use the /NOFEED
qualifier on your print command (I assume the silly name has something to
do with "form feed").  That should work no matter what the symbiont
believes.

The word from DEC SOftware support is that /page=1 does the same thing as
the old /page=0.  It does work as expected, but *you* figure out why
they set it up that way.

/nofeed won't do quite the right thing, because if you tell the symbiont
that your printer doesn't have a hardware formfeed, it will stick in the
appropriate number of crelfs.  This has interesting results on an LN01...
