[comp.unix.aix] 3003 release

Andreas.Kaiser@p0.f7014.n244.z2.Fidonet.stgt.sub.org (Andreas Kaiser) (03/10/91)

Now I have read a lot about a "3003" release, but never found such a number somewhere in the OS. An Oracle tape told, it requires 3002. Could someone tell me, how I can get the release number of the installed OS?

                Gruss, Andreas

"lslpp -h bos.obj" will give you a history of the base operating system.

03.01.0003.???? (where question marks indicate a build level) for 3003
03.01.0005.???? for the newly announced 3005 (AIX 3.1.5)
