The key to making this disk drive work I, would assume, would be to get the right UCB (unit control block, RSX-11M terminology). Whatever the equivalent is in VMS determines the size of the device, etc. Don't know is that helps.... Why would you want an RS04 on your system (assuming you aren't refering to a solid state look alike).
