Since we updated to 3003, our 8-Port-RS232-Adapter shows a very strange behaviour: it will pause output randomly for a random timeframe, typically between 3 and 10 seconds, rendering it almost completely unusable for terminal or modem use. Everytime this "pause"-condition occurs, the following entry is written to the error log: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ERROR LABEL: COM_TEMP_PIO ERROR ID: D428042B Date/Time: May 02 02:58:30 Sequence Number: 2062 Machine Id: 000021301000 Node Id: softpro Error Class: H Error Type: TEMP Resource Name: rsdd Resource Class: NONE Resource Type: NONE Location: NONE Error Description PIO exception Failure Causes 0506 Recommended Actions Adapter can be isolated based upon the address being accessed \ and the adapter assignments made at configuration time. I already opened a PMR (#77394), but it will probably take the support people some time to get back to me. Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround for it? I already tried to replace rsdd with the one from 3002, to no avail ... diag doesn't think it's a hardware problem, BTW. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
