[fa.info-vax] PL/I IBM/TSO vs. VAX/VMS

Hi:

My group is involved with a project which intends to port a
substantial program (50k+ lines) written in IBM PL/I to VAX/VMS.
The hooker in the project is a requirement to maintain backward
compatibility with IBM (to as large a degree as possible). The
program involved makes heavy use of COMPLEX numbers (we're engineers
after all!!!), which appears to be one of the major stumbling blocks.

Now for the questions:

	1)	Is there any one out there with experience in the type
of task who might be willing to share their thoughts and
		war stories?

	2)	Does anyone know of a preprocessor for VMS-PL/I to
		deal with IBM code incompatibilities?

	3)	Does anyone know of ANY tools available (DECUS or
otherwise, even for $) to aid in this kind of
		conversion.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!
