[Be a Hero - Vote the Big "Z" Row] The '64 election had a lot of minor-party candidates. When the Buffalo papers refused to print tallies for them, I went down to the County Board of Elections. They were still organizing the tallies for the printer, but were happy to show me the results. Good thing, too, as I found a misspelled name on an official tally sheet. (One of the Socialist candidates, I think.) One of the Buffalo papers has since bit the dust. We're all waiting for the other one to follow. -- Col. G. L.
