I would like to change the root menu that pops up in X-windows when you press one of the mouse buttons. I am running RS/6000 under AIX 3.1. I start up the X-windows by typing xinit from the console. Where is the table for the root menu ? Is it possible to change the menu or am I stuck with the 5-6 options it gives me ? How can I implement a user written menu if there is no way of changing the current one ? All suggestions appreciated.. E-mail your answers if possible.... Yusuf Pisan yusuf@aristotle.ils.nwu.edu

Yes, you can change the menu. Copy the file "/usr/lib/X11/system.mwmrc" to your home directory as "$HOME/.mwmrc". Edit this file to change the contents of your menu and restart your 'mwm' session.
