Hi ! We've just installed an R6000/530 and are getting our feet wet. I'm trying to track down some common things ... such as cpu time routines. What is the AIX/6000 equivalent of Etime (SunOS) or Second (VMS) ? What is the clock resolution for the standard times functions ? Where do they hide the Msec clock ? (Why does "man -k time" not return anything ?!) Thanks Steve

A "catman -w" will create it (note - it's not immediate, takes quiet a while to run). >Steve /Zvika Zvika Bar-Deroma Phone: (+972)-4-292706 Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Fax : (+972)-4-231848 Technion Haifa 32000 Israel BITNET : AER7101@TECHNION Internet : AER7101@TECHNION.TECHNION.AC.IL UUCP : ...!uunet!pucc.princeton.edu!technion!aer7101
