[Power supply dead after being connected when switched to 230V] It seems unlikely that it would fail when set to too _high_ a voltage - I would have expected it the other way round, but not as you describe. Unless the design is extremely strange, I think it ought to be OK. Perhaps it failed for some other reason ? I would agree with the posts that said to replace the whole thing, but I would change the fuses ONCE just in case, if still no good, then throw it away. I _have_ seen a fuse blow because it was tired, but more than once indicates a fault. Good luck with the fix. Howard.
