The USAF activated the 66th Air Rescue Squadron at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada. The 66th will be the first stateside active duty unit to fly the Sikorsky MH-60G Pave Hawk chopper. 2. The RAF received the first of 7 Boeing US/NATO Standard E-3As on 26 Mar 91. The remaining 6 will be delivered in the next 10 months and will replace BAE Nimrod A.E.W. 3s. The French also ordered 4 AWACS, the first was schedulted to be delivered in May 91. 3. The last GBM-109G Ground-Launched Cruise Missile was removed from Comiso AB, Italy on 26 Mar 91. According to the INF treaty, they all must be eliminated by 31 May 91.
