HUMAN RIGHTS: DEBATE ON ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION GENEVA, 29 August -- At its afternoon meeting today, the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities continued its consideration of the question of the administration of justice and the human rights of detainees; including questions of human rights of persons subjected to any form of detention and imprisonment; human rights and states of emergency; individualization of prosecution and penalties, and repercussions of violations of human rights on families.
