PRESIDENT OF VENEZUELA TO ADDRESS GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON MONDAY

Carlos Andres Perez, President of Venezuela, will visit United
Nations Headquarters on Monday, 25 September, to address the
General Assembly and confer with Secretary-General Javier Perez
de Cuellar.
President Perez will arrive with his party at 11 a.m. at the
Secretariat Entrance where he will be received by the
Secretary-General. They will then proceed to the thirty-eighth
floor where the two will confer.
President Perez will then leave Headquarters by the Secretariat
Entrance.
At 3 p.m., the President of Venezuela will return to Headquarters
at the Delegates Entrance and proceed to room GA-200 to pay a
visit to the President of the General Assembly, Joseph N. Garba
(Nigeria). President Perez will then go to the General Assembly
Hall where he will address the Assembly.
President Perez will leave Headquarters by the Delegates
Entrance.
On Tuesday, 26 September, President Perez will arrive at 1:15
p.m. at the Delegates Entrance. He will proceed to the West
Foyer, on the second floor, to join the other Heads of State or
Government who will attend the luncheon given by the
Secretary-General in their honour. President Perez will then
proceed to the Delegates Dining room for the luncheon, which will
be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
President Perez will leave Headquarters by the Delegates
Entrance.
On Wednesday, 27 September, the President of Venezuela will
arrive at 3:30 p.m. at the Delegates Entrance and proceed to
Conference Room 4 to hold a press conference.
After the press conference, President Perez will leave
Headquarters by the Delegates Entrance.
