However, we have standing verbal agreements with UNIBASE and other educational systems, that the material may be used and distributed for educational purposes by educational, non-profit or NGO organizations but NOT RESOLD unless a prior legal arrangement and contract is negotiated with UNITEX. UNITEX pays between $15,000 to $25,000 per year to access and gather this information in addition to the editing and conversion costs for network interface compatibility, mail standards, headers, message formatting, etc and editing for US release and email distribution & dissemination to several thousand sites around the globe. We are currently looking for financing/funding from various institutes, foundations, etc since UNITEX is a non-profit organization. The UNITEX MAGAZINE will soon be available on a subscrition basis. In fact, we would appreciate some HELP from our links and readers that have been consistently receiving UNITEX. We have been distributing the UNITEX CONFERENCE for over two years to many, many systems worldwide!. We will soon be providing a service and an electronic magazine that is especially suited to school libraries, political science departments and other academic departments concerned with international studies, governments, etc. We have the material categorized into specific *topics*. The material is up-dated at least twice a week and then sent to the various subscribers electronically for laser printing off-line in the form of a magazine. We could supply either a straight ascii magazine format or a desktop published version in hard copy depending on the demand.... We will send a sample Tabe of Contents via this conference in a few days... If any UNITEX readers can help direct our attention to potential subscribers, it would certainly be appreciated!
