I don't know what might be happening. etherfind on sol seemed to show a lot of arp's. Jim Barby thinks maybe the vlsi LanBridge just needs to be slapped. Something is weird with routing on all the vlsi machines - they seem to forget the routes. Even though routed is running and they are ifconfig'd right, netstat -r shows very few routes. Attempts to ping a vlsi machine usually fail, until you go to that machine and ping out from it, which makes the other machine able to ping it. Jim will get the bridge rebooted tomorrow morning.
