[news.announce.newgroups] Pharm mailing list

berryh@udel.edu (John Berryhill) (11/28/89)

Recently a large collection of sites have decided for various reasons
to discontinue carrying the newsgroup alt.drugs (as is perfectly within
their rights to do). If you are at a site that does not carry alt.drugs,
you may still read a digest of that group by subscribing to the Pharm
mailing list. You will receive a thrice-weekly mailing that consists of
articles from the newsgroup alt.drugs. The contents of Pharm are edited
to remove the repetitive political arguments and excess flamage that somtimes
occur in alt.drugs. Political articles of particularly novel value and
reports of policy developments will be included.

In addition to being able to read alt.drugs, you may still post to alt.drugs
by sending your postings to Pharm by mail. Please specify whether you wish
these postings to be anonymous or identified as your own. The default
status will be anonymous. If you know of any other people who would like
to receive alt.drugs, please tell them to send Pharm e-mail. Your address
will not appear in the To: or Cc: fields of anyone else's mail but your
own in order to preserve your anonymity.

Pharm reserves the right to edit or reject anonymous messages. Pharm
will pass along non-anonymous messages verbatim. Under no circumstances
will Pharm pass along ANY message that may be construed to be a solicitation
to engage in illegal behavior of any kind.

For subscription requests, send to: pharm-request@udel.edu

To submit anonymous articles, send to: pharm@udel.edu
