This is an official call for votes. The pertinent information:
Proposed Group Name: rec.audio.high-end
Moderated: Yes
Moderator: Thomas Krueger (tjk@csd4.csd.uwm.edu)
Charter:
Rec.Audio.High-End will be the USENET gateway to the Internet
mailing list Info-High-Audio. The wide-spread readership of
Info-High-Audio implies such a newsgroup would be popular. The
messages I received during the discussion period seem to support
that claim. As is Info-High-Audio, Rec.Audio.High-End would be
moderated.
Voting Method: E-Mail only, to <tjk@csd4.csd.uwm.edu>. State "yes" or "no"
as unambiguously as possible. Voting will be open until 15 January 1990.
Votes received after that date, as well as any posted votes, will not be
counted. I will try to send an ACK message for each received vote; there
will be a mass ACK at the end of the voting period. If (and only if) there
are 100 or more "yes" than "no" votes AND a clear 2/3 majority, a newgroup
message will originate from CSD4 after 20 January.
Please remember you are voting "yes" or "no" to THIS proposal ONLY. If you
do not like the proposal, vote "no" and mail in suggestions for a new
proposal.
