[A plea: could we please try to tone down the flames on this one now? It seems
clear that an honest human error was made which has led to some unintended
irregularities, and that the author THOUGHT he had posted this before and
that he is now trying to do the "right" thing. Thanks. --moderator]

This is a call for discussion for the creation of rec.music.pfloyd. The
process suffered from many holes and bumps last time, this time I've got a
little outside help (which I had last time, now I've got more) so it should
work out better this time.
PURPOSE:
This group has been proposed to lessen the traffic in the rec.music.misc
and alt.rock-n-roll, as well as make life easier for Pink Floyd fans.
CHARTER:
This group shall be to discuss lyrics, songs, shows, new releases, and/or
anything pertaining to the musical band Pink Floyd.
The proposed name is still rec.music.pfloyd. Also at this time I would like
to request that people cease voting until the next call for votes. I have rec-
eived alot of yes votes over the past few days, and I thank you, but I'm afraid
I can't count them. The next voting period will be the real one. The last one,
well, ***VOID*** <--(official stamp :->) and null. I am sorry about this whole
mess. Let's see if it can go the way it should this time.
