I just thought you all might like to know that the guys in Colorado Springs really do listen to us. Some of the known defects in my version of more for VMS have gone away under VMS4.2. They have modified the SMG routines for the better. The MAIL system used to force a page of blank lines if it didn't know your terminal type because the SMG routine to close all windows felt it had to clear the screen when finished. That has been fixed, so both MAIL and my MORE work better now. What does anybody out there think of EVE, the new extensible editor from DEC that comes with 4.2? I think it stinks: it only supports ANSI crt's! Todd Aven
