Can anyone tell me if any C++ compilers and/or decent ports are available for Mips computers? I haven't heard of a single one - apart from the do-it-yourself AT&T. Thanks in anticipation. Alan Kennington.

Building the AT&T C++ 2.0 translator for the MIPS M2000-8 running RISCOS4.0, took about an hour. The do it yourself part is not hard. For the MIPS machine, a translator is better than a compiler, because MIPS has done a alot of work optimizing their compiler for the MIPS RISC architecture.
