During moments of low memory availability, I get this message on my system console (of my m/120): WARNING: And that's is all I get, just the string "WARNING:". Does anyone know what this means? I have thought of many possible next lines for this message, perhaps one of them is really true: Insufficient memory to allocate string space for error text. Syslog: temporarily mapping /dev/console --> /dev/null /dev/console: Device full unix.local: Just kidding... bus error: Need more ram at 4.38x market price. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Andrew Simms ams@acm.princeton.edu System Administrator Program in Applied and Computational Math Princeton University Princeton, NJ 08544 609/258-5324 or 609/258-6227 609/258-1054 (fax)
