I just received my new RS2030, and everything seems to work great - except
for the screen saver that is running under xdm. The line in
/usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers reads:
:0 secure /usr/bin/X11/X -bs -su -s 5 -v -logo
What I would like to see the screen saver do is turn off the video,
leaving a blank, black screen, like most screen savers do. I have
tried setting nologo, and have -v set for video off. I can force the
screen to go black by setting root to solid black, but this seems like
a strange way to go about it. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I forget what the default timeout is... somewhere around 60 seconds.
