Can someone (from Mips) please give me some correct information on
how to set up and use the motherboard ports on a Mips-120.
We recently purchased a Mips 120-5 and I am at a complete loss on
how the make the serial ports function properly. I have tried
wiring my serial cables according to the information in
/usr/pkg/rn/RISCos and nothing worked. My supplier gave a few
suggestions and they imporved things, but I still have problems
with modem flow-control (i.e. it don't work). I currently have
on modem with can atleast answer the phone but I can call out.
Has anyone ever made uugetty work. All it does for me is sit
there and look stupid (ie. no DTR) or else it starts 12 inits and
response time goes out the window.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I will post the
ones which work and protect the identity of those that don't.
