Since text editors are such heavily used system programs there comes a point when, and the lack of a hardware/microcode-implemented PDP-11 instruction set is a good point, when TECO users are just going to have to byte the bullet and re-implement TECO. An implementation in C is probably most sensible. So, you serious TECO users, go for it!

Agreed. Note that the TECO that is distributed by DEC is horribly out of date anyway. They should get the latest version from MIT. ...Keith
