We have received a RC6280 for betha-testing. Unfortunately, there are hardware problems which makes it feel like pre-alpha. MIPS is working on solving those, but we would like to know if we just happen to be specially blessed or others have similar experiences. Please, e-mail. tnx. -- ___________________________________________________________________ Zdenko Tomasic, Rice U., Chem. Dept., P.O. Both the VMEbus interface and the I/O board got sent back for repair; one of them (I don't remember which) ended up having a bad system bus interface chip. I've heard that BiT has been having some problems with these. -- -- beak is beak is not

Let me make some clarifications; I think I worded my post badly. I didn't mean to imply anything bad about BIT (or MIPS, for that matter). "Problems" I think pretty much just means that there have been delivery volume shortfalls. -- -- beak is beak is not
