Hi, We have recently bought some Maxtor 8760 SCSI disks (768 Mb unformatted) for our MIPS M/120s. When I went to format one of them I ran into the /stand/format program (under RiscOS 4.3), which seems to have very little documentation associated with it. I guessed most of the parameters I didn't know, and it still seemed to work OK, but I would like to know what they actually are, or if they even apply to SCSI disks. I would very much appreciate it if anybody would tell me either reasonable values for the following, or how to work them out from the technical specs.
